Ahead of the record date for the dividends declared by Tanla Platforms and KEI Industries, shares of these two firms continued to be of interest on Friday, January 27. On January 21, both businesses announced their financial results and interim dividends.

Today is the final day to purchase business shares to qualify for the dividend since the record date is Monday, January 27. Investors whose names are on the shareholders’ list as of the record date are entitled to dividend payments from the company. Due to the T+1 settlement period, investors must purchase company shares one day in advance. Thus, to qualify for dividend payments, today is the last day to purchase Tanla Platforms and KEI Industries shares.

For the fiscal year 2024–2025 (FY25), KEI Industries, a producer of cables and electric wires, declared on January 21 an interim dividend of ₹4 per share of face value of ₹2 each. The firm set the record date for the dividend payment for Monday, January 27.

The Board of Directors of the Company has authorized the Declaration of an interim dividend of Rs. 4.00/- (i.e., @ 200%) per equity share of face value of Rs. 2.00/- each for the fiscal year 2024-25 by Regulations 30 and 43 of the SEBI Regulations, 2015. Furthermore, according to KEI Industries’ filing, the record date for identifying the equity shareholders eligible to receive the interim dividend for the fiscal year 2024–2025 has been set as Monday, the 27th day of January 2025, by Regulation 42 of the SEBI Regulations, 2015.

KEI Industries has announced an equity dividend of ₹3.50 per share during the last 12 months. According to Trendlyne statistics, it has issued 24 dividends since August 2021.

Over the past year, the share price of KEI Industries has increased by 48%, 7%, and 10%, respectively. The shares of KEI Industries were down 0.34% at ₹4,465.65 at 9.50 am. Tanla Platforms set Monday, January 27, as the record date and declared an interim dividend of ₹6 per share of the face value of Re 1 each for FY25.

We hereby notify you that, by Regulations 30, 33, and 42 of the SEBIRegulations, 2015, the Board of Directors of the Company, among other things, considered and approved the Declaration of interim dividend for the FY 2024-25 at the rate of ₹ 6/- per equity share (i.e., 600%) of face value ₹ 1/- each, according to a filing made by Tanla Platforms.

Additionally, the corporation stated that the interim dividend payment must be delivered by February 20, 2025, at the latest.

Tanla Platforms announced an equity dividend of ₹12 per share throughout the last 12 months. Tanla Platforms has announced 17 dividends since March 2007. The share price of Tanla Platforms has dropped 45% in a year, 34% in six months, and 18% in three months. Tanla Platforms’ share price was down 0.58% at ₹614.35 per share at 10.13 am.
