On Monday, January 20, shares of small-cap business Sigachi Industries surged by more than 7% following the release of the company’s December quarter profits for the fiscal year 2024–2025 (Q3 FY25). Compared to the same quarter last year, when its consolidated net profit was ₹16.10 crore, the pharmaceutical company reported a 27.36% increase to ₹20.51 crore for Q3 FY25. On a sequential basis, however, the profit decreased by 2%.
In terms of stocks, the share price of Sigachi Industries has underperformed the market, dropping 9.8% over the past six months and 35% over the past year. In contrast, the BSE Sensex has increased 7.5% over the past year and decreased 4.7% during the past six months.
Sigachi Industries Q3 Results
Sigachi Industries, a pharmaceutical firm situated in Hyderabad, announced a YoY increase of more than 30% in its consolidated net profit for the third quarter (Q3 FY2025), which came to Rs 21.35 crore with increased income. A net profit of Rs 16.11 crore was recorded by the company during the October-December quarter of FY2024.
The company’s operating revenue in the December 2024 quarter was Rs 139.41 crore, which was a 25 percent year-over-year increase from the Rs 110.94 crore recorded there the previous year. After reaching Rs 112.65 crore in Q3 of the previous fiscal year, the total income in the reviewed quarter increased to Rs 141.43 crore. Throughout the three months, its costs rose to Rs 114.72 crore.
